One of the world's principal Estée Lauder Companies, Inc. is maker and
marketers of skin care, cosmetics, cologne and hair concern products.
Boycott
Estée Lauder and its variety have been the aim of a boycott crusade at least
February, 2001. The boycott has survive guide by pro-Palestinian activists
who have embattled the corporation as of the pro-Israel behavior of Ronald
Lauder.[3][4] In June 2003, the San Francisco-based Queers Undermining
Israeli Terrorism (QUIT) took up the refuse with their "Estee Slaughter"
campaign.[5] The boycott has cause an anti-boycott campaign by group of
Israel.
Sandra Bernhard
Estée Lauder's boutique sort, M.A.C, aired an
internet marketable starring M.A.C representative Sandra Bernhard. Ms.
Bernhard referred to hypothetical persons different herself (who apparently
did not use the invention) as "...slight freaked out, intimidated, scared,
right-wing Republican thin-lipped bitch" in this now well-known internet ad.
Many Estee Lauder variety customers make contact with the company to
protest, asking that be indifferent and a public regret made. The company
makes an apology for the ad, and the video was uninvolved from the executive
site, even though it is still obtainable on YouTube.
